Our first squirrel patient let go of life on Sunday. She put up a valiant effort, but the infection that set in from not being treated for days after her inital wounds was just too great. She went peacefully, warm and cared for and is no longer suffering.

Some days that’s the best you can hope for in wildlife rehab.
